Our Story – Why This Home Exists

My name is Oluwasikemi Babalola, and this foundation was born from lived experience. For over 24 years, I endured domestic abuse. In 2020, God rescued me and began my healing journey. From that moment, I made a promise to help others who suffer silently—especially women and children. In 2023, while visiting Nigeria with my daughter, we encountered children living without basic care, safety, or guidance. Many had no parents. Many had no education. Many had no one to protect them. That moment changed everything. We realised that if children are supported early, cycles of abuse, poverty, and neglect can be broken forever. And so, Highest Heights Children’s Home & Empowerment Foundation was born.

The Project – What We Are Building

We have already:

Completed planning and design

Begun early-stage construction

To nurture vulnerable children into confident, healthy, and empowered young adults through:

Separate areas for boys and girls
