Our Founding Story
The inspiration behind Highest Heights began with the personal story of our founder, Oluwasikemi Babalola, a woman whose life embodies strength, healing, and divine restoration.
“My name is Oluwasikemi Babalola, and at the age of 51, I stand today as a living testimony of God’s grace and deliverance. I was married for 24 years, and throughout those years I endured domestic violence that left deep emotional and physical scars. But in 2020, God intervened, rescued me from that situation, and began to heal my life.
From that moment, I made a promise in my heart that I would use my experience to help other women who are suffering in silence, just as I once did. My desire was to build a safe home where women facing domestic violence could find protection, support, and hope.
In 2023, my daughter and I travelled to Nigeria, and during our stay at a camp, our hearts were deeply moved. We saw many children—hungry, without clothing, without basic needs, and without anyone to care for them. We realised that the cycle of pain and brokenness often begins in childhood. If children are not guided, loved, and taught good values early, they may grow up vulnerable to unhealthy relationships and harmful environments.
Together, my daughter and I prayed and agreed that God was leading us to start an orphanage charity in Lagos, a place where children without mothers or fathers can receive love, education, guidance, and spiritual nurturing. Our mission is to raise children who will grow into strong, confident adults who know their worth, understand healthy relationships, and never have to experience the suffering I endured.
Today, I speak from my heart and invite anyone whom God touches to support this vision. Your help can build a future for these children, giving them the foundation they need to break generational cycles of abuse and hardship.
Thank you, and God bless you richly.”

This powerful testimony is the heart of our foundation. What began as one woman’s healing journey has become a mission to heal and empower the next generation.

Our Core Values
What We Do
We provide a comprehensive ecosystem of care through our Core Services & Programs, including:

Why We Exist
Because no child should grow up hungry, neglected, or afraid.
Because every child deserves protection, opportunity, and love.
Because broken childhoods often become broken adulthood—unless someone intervenes. Highest Heights is that intervention. A bridge, A refuge, A new beginning.
